My friend Vincent was in town, and we went out to the coast to explore and camp near the ocean. In addition to a wonderful hike through forest, across dunes, around a lake, and along the coast, we built a fantastic fire with hand gathered wood.

Vincent and I went hiking along the famed Eagle Creek trail. Distracted by sidepaths and waterfalls, we didn’t make it very far along the path, but we made up for it in quality.

My friend Phyllis came up to Portland for a visit, and we decided a trip to Crater Lake and a journey up the Oregon coast would be a great way to spend the time.

These were from my first visit to San Francisco. Only one cliché shot of the Golden Gate Bridge in the whole thing (taken from Fort Point). The rest of the photos are from around Fisherman’s Wharf, the Aquarium of the Bay, and one photo taken at a vineyard just outside of the city.
