Neahkahnie Mountain

Sometime around the winter solstice of 2009, I got the unignorable feeling that I needed to go hiking. Using Google maps I located a likely state park near the coast, which had a mountain with a trail to hike up. It was a wonderful seven hour hike up a 1,700 foot mountain, and being that I went near Christmas and on a weekday, I had the entire mountain to myself.

Sunsets and Candlelight

These photos are the result of my seizing opportune moments over the course of about a week. There was no real planning put into them, mostly just a collection of sudden inspiration by what I happened to glance.

Miscellany

These are just some photos I had sitting on my hard drive that didn’t really fit into a larger set.

Oregon Coast
